SIMPLifier of Medical Terms for ENDOmetriosis Patients
It is a system that helps patients and non-experts to understand Endometriosis medical texts by translating the medical/technical terms in simple/plain terms and adding information in plain language. The list of Medical Term used for translating is here.
It can be used in one of the following ways:
- pasting any medical text (in English) in the text area and clicking the 'submit' button;
- selecting one of the available medical reports from the Reports dropdown list (the text will appear in the text area above) and clicking the 'submit' button.
The technical terms will be highlighted and will present one infobutton(i) close to them, that, if present, provides the consumer translation of the term and its definition.
